Calculator inputs
The paycheck calculator runs entirely in your web browser. The salary, hours, withholding choices and deductions you enter are not sent to or stored on our servers. If you use “Copy shareable link,” your inputs are placed in the page address (URL) so you can share them; anyone you send that link to can see those inputs.
Information stored on your device
If you choose light or dark mode, the site stores that preference in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to us.
Server logs
Like most websites, our web server automatically records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. We use these logs to keep the site secure and working and to understand overall traffic. They are not used to identify individual visitors and are deleted on a rolling basis.
